Through arrow (HRM 91)
This pavement stencil creates the HRM 91 through arrow at its standard size, drawn from the 2025 Red Book figure. It is split onto panels with registration holes for easy alignment. It suits contractors and line painters marking through lanes.

How to make it
Cut from 1/8" LDPE on a CNC router (or a large CO₂ laser for Mylar). Panels overlap and have matching registration holes: pin them together, spray marking paint straight down, and lift before it skins.
Checked for these materials
| Material | Machine | Thinnest strip | Narrowest opening |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1/8″ LDPE (recommended) | CNC router | 30+ mm | 30+ mm |
| 1/8″ HDPE | CNC router | 30+ mm | 30+ mm |
Measured on the exact cut lines for each material, after kerf.
Quality checks
- ✓Passed: Units are millimetres, 1:1 · Every cut path is closed, no zero-length segments · No duplicate or stacked cut lines · No cut lines cross or touch · Curves aren't over-segmented · Thinnest strip of material ≥ the material's minimum · Narrowest opening ≥ what the machine cuts cleanly · Pieces come out as designed (nothing falls loose) · The generator raised no warnings · Fits a common machine bed.
